New Leadership Team - October 2008

The end of October is the time that the new leadership team chosen at the Raranga Wairua Chapter begin their four year term.

In the light of the Mission Statement of the Sisters, “Ki tonu te ao me te orokohanga te tangata - Fullness of life for the earth and its peoples”,    inspirational vision statements were drawn up by the Chapter.  These  dealt with both personal and communal responses to the Mission for the coming years.

Some of these affirmations were:

knowing and embracing the mystery in whom we, with all creation, live and move and have our being;
living in awareness of our interconnectedness with the universe;
living simply, sustainably, and companionably;
living our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi;
collaborating in partnerships which are life-giving;
encouraging mutual sharing of spirituality, values and vision with others in the wider community;
strengthening our links with the wider Josephite movement.

This is the continuing vision that the Sisters, with the new Coordinating team, will begin the next four years.
