Sharing in Goulburn Celebrations - August 2007

The weekend of 11-13 August was a special one for the Sisters of St Joseph Goulburn, NSW, as they celebrated 125 years of their foundation from Perthville.  Sisters Marcienne Waite and Anne Burke represented the New Zealand Sisters, along with Josephites from the other Federation groups of Perthville, Lochinvar, Tasmania, and the Central Josephite Sisters.
Many gatherings took place over the weekend where all were able to honour past Sisters, to meet up with Sisters, friends, and former community members.  A highlight was the opening and blessing of The  Tenison Woods Centre which included a History Room and Assembly Centre.

Anne and Marcienne here chat to Sister M Tarcisius of Goulburn, first President of the Federation of the Australian-New Zealand Federation of Sisters of St Joseph in 1967.
