Building progress - January 2009

The first part of the major building project at Nazareth, provision of the two new wings, is almost nearing completion.  Sign over is expected from the builders in the next week or so, which means that residents in the upstairs wing will be able to move down to new rooms.  This will enable the builders to remodel the upstairs wing, putting en suites in for each room.

The extension of the dining room and adjacent lounge has begun.  Last to be done will be widening of the front entrance, with a new lounge and offices.

Mrs Aileen McDonnell and Mr Arthur Timms watch the builders at work on the dining room extension.

Mr Jack Hodge and Mr Ray McNeill take a peek into the almost completed Aroha Wing extension.
