Family Day at Nazareth

Residents and their families gathered at Nazareth on 13 th November to enjoy the gardens and share afternoon tea.

Over the previous weeks, residents had prepared for the day with various activities. With the diversional therapist, some had planted and decorated large flower pots, while others made a pair of very life-like scarecrows. There were creatively decorated walking sticks, which were shown to their best advantage hanging from tree branches.

The grounds had been beautifully prepared by the groundsmen, and all took advantage of the fine day by following paths and directions to outer parts of the garden. A garden quiz added to the fun, and each area had a hidden delight to find.

Diversional therapist Sonya Hodge with resident Joh Koning. Joh's wife Ria had prepared the beautiful floral arrangement which greeted the visitors as they entered the front door.
