Leadership
Leadership
Since our beginnings, our group of Sisters followed a mode of leadership with an elected leader, assisted by an elected group of councillors.
In 1992, our search for a more feminine model, which would also be more truly participative, and shared by all members, brought about a change. We chose a group of three Sisters to co-ordinate the leadership within the group.
This new way of sharing responsibility has continued to evolve. Since 1996, every four years the Sisters have chosen a group of co-ordinators.
Within the whole group, responsibility for all the various facets of our community life is shared by small groups. These in turn network with each other and with the co-ordinators.

The present Coordinators chosen by the Sisters in October 2008, are Colleen Woodcock, Catherine Shelton, Anne Burke and Noelene Landrigan. They are shown with the poupou of Hohepa/Joseph in the grounds of Mt St Joseph.
